As soon as an agreement expires, it’s no longer active in your workspace. Expiration keeps your agreements fresh by giving your team the opportunity to decide what to do with agreements over time.

A week before an agreement expires, Murmur automatically collects feedback from members of your workspace to ask them what should happen with the agreement. Here are your options:

After an agreement expires, you’ll find it in the “Expired” tab on your Agreements page. Note that any member of your workspace has the ability to propose changes to an agreement, but only admins can extend the expiration date, or archive.

To propose changes, go to the agreement and click “Propose Changes”.

Fast Track Extending Expiration or Archiving an Agreement

Rather than going through all three rounds of the Murmur Method, you can Fast Track a proposal to either extend expiration or archive an agreement:

Participants will then either consent or object to extending or archiving the agreement. If anyone objects, the proposal will be sent to the Understand round to go through the full process.
